Inversion Algorithm

Theorem

Let $A$ be an invertible $n\times n$ matrix

Then to find the inverse of $A$ :

1. Find the sequence of elementary row operation that reduces $A$ to the identity
2. Perform that same sequence of operations on $I_n$ to obtain $A^{-1}$
